Island
The Isle of Mull is the fourth largest Island in the United Kingdom, covering 338 square miles off the west coast of Scotland. It is most associated with wildlife, featuring heavily on programmes like Springwatch. This is no surprise given the variety of creatures that can be found plying their trade over its sparsely populated moorland and mountains. The resident population of humans only numbers around 3000 but this increases threefold during the summer months. Even with the influx, this feels like the edge of Scottish and British culture.
